The 2024 Blue Ribbon Awards program is now open with important changes to deadlines and timetables. We have included Blue Ribbon Awards entry forms below.
ENTRY DEADLINE: MONDAY FEBRUARY 17, 2025 AT 2:00 PM
BLUE RIBBON AWARDS CELEBRATION: FRIDAY, APRIL 11, 2025
Because the NCSPRA/SCNSPRA fall conference is postponed until February 2025, NCSPRA is altering the usual deadlines and timetables for its Blue Ribbon Awards. The original date for the Blue Ribbon Awards celebration was January 31, 2025. However, to avoid falling so near the rescheduled fall conference, NCSPRA is delaying its Blue Ribbon Awards celebration until Friday, April 11.
The delay will allow more time for members to submit Blue Ribbon Awards entries. The extended submission window should benefit everyone, but NCSPRA is especially mindful of those impacted by Hurricane Helene who will need additional time to prepare and submit their entries.
The entry deadline is Monday February 17 at 2:00 p.m.
The entries that members submit must be for work that was created between November 1, 2023 and October 31, 2024.
Here are the categories for NCSPRA's 2024 Blue Ribbon Awards:
Digital Media Engagement
Electronic Media
Excellence in Writing
Image Graphic Design
Marketing
Photography
Publications (Print & Electronic)
Special Events & Programs
Click here to see a description of each category and the Blue Ribbon Awards judging criteria.
The Blue Ribbon Awards entry fee is $45 per submission.
All entries must be submitted electronically, and all entries must be the work of current NCSPRA members. The entry deadline is 2:00 pm on Monday, February 17. NCSPRA will not extend the deadline, so please make sure entries are submitted on time.
**In order to submit Blue Ribbon Awards entries, members must complete two forms. The first form specifies how many entries each district/organization will submit. If members need to adjust their number of Blue Ribbon Awards entries later, they may go to the Blue Ribbon registration form confirmation email they receive to edit the number of entries submitted. NCSPRA will adjust their invoice accordingly.
The second form is the entry form for submission(s). Members must submit BOTH forms to complete the entry process, and the invoice must be paid in order to receive Blue Ribbon recognition.
[Complete the form above once to specify the number of awards being submitted.]
[Members must complete the form above for each entry submitted. They will receive a confirmation email for each submission to acknowledge that it was received successfully.]
The Blue Ribbon Awards ceremony will be held at the Blue Heron Event Venue on Friday, April 11. The Blue Heron is conveniently located at 4130 Mendenhall Oaks Pkwy in High Point and has plenty of free parking. Attendance at the celebration is free for all NCSPRA members.
