Tim Lussier
Advisor for Community Relations, Moore County Schools
January 31!!! – That’s the date for our Blue Ribbon Awards Event!
Thanks to all of you who sent in submissions to the Blue Ribbon Awards! The judging isn’t in yet, but as soon as we know, all winners will be notified so we can get the RSVPs in and a count for that day. The location has been confirmed – we will be at the O’Henry Hotel in Greensboro, and we’ll have more details coming soon. Look forward to seeing you there!
Fall Conference presentations on website
Several of you have asked about PowerPoints from the Fall Conference being posted on the NCSPRA website. I’m sure you can empathize with busy schedules, so sorry for the delay, but we do plan to have some of these posted very soon!
A great opportunity for your school district
You were sent a flyer a few weeks ago about Rick Kaufman and the opportunity to have his “Crisis Management” presentation in your school district. I’ve attached the flyer again. He is traveling the state the week of Feb. 17-21, and there are a few half day slots still available. If you think your district would like to take advantage of this excellent presentation, give Jeff Nash a call (919-967-8211 ext. 28227) or email (jnash@chccs.k12.nc.us).
TWEET to Share Your District Ideas, Challenges and Successes with NCSPRA Colleagues
We’re all too busy to reinvent the wheel, so why try? Let’s share our good news, ideas and successes through social media. Did you know NCSPRA has a Twitter account? It’s true – follow us: @NCSPRA to join the fun. You’ll not only learn what’s happening in districts across the state, but you’ll also find out about ideas and successes from your colleagues. But we need YOU to make it happen. Use hashtag #NCSPRA when you tweet something to share and we’ll retweet it, so all our followers will see your post.
