MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT
We are the premiere school PR organization in the state as well as proud members of the National School Public Relations Association.
As the President of NCSPRA, I would like to thank our members for their support and for this opportunity to lead this great organization. NCSPRA is dedicated to providing professional development, mentorship, leadership, support, and more to those who work in public schools in North Carolina, in our region, and across the country.
In our line of work, we understand the importance of effective communication and engagement with our stakeholders. We have faced many challenges over the past few years, from the COVID-19 pandemic to social and political unrest. However, I am proud to say that our members have risen to the occasion and have continued to serve our schools and communities with excellence.
Our organization is committed to providing you with the tools, resources, and support you need to navigate these challenging times. We offer a wide range of professional development opportunities from our fall conference to various webinars, workshops, and networking events. This includes the NCSPRA Podcast, SchoolPR DriveTime. We also recognize the importance of leadership in our field. That is why NCSPRA is committed to developing the next generation of leaders both in school PR and within our organization. Through our professional development opportunities and mentorship efforts, we’ll provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to serve your district at a high level.
Finally, I want to thank you for your dedication and hard work. You are the backbone of maintaining a positive image and brand of our public schools and school communities, and your contributions are invaluable. Together, we can continue to make a difference in the lives of our students and families and play an important role in helping public schools in North Carolina thrive.
