It’s fall, y’all, and time for the NCSPRA/SC-NSPRA Conference!A chill is in the air. Leaves are vibrant colors. Days are a little shorter. Fall has arrived in Asheville, and for PR people, it’s time for a mountain getaway where the only limit is the sky.
PR professionals from across North and South Carolina are gathering for three days of professional development to explore the seasons of school communication and public relations.
Our keynote speaker is the school communications guru and no stranger to us in North Carolina. We are proud to welcome Tom DeLapp as our keynote speaker for the NCSPRA/SC-NSPRA Fall Conference. Tom is president of Communication Resources for Schools in Rocklin, California. He’s also serving this year as president of the National School Public Relations Association.
Tom will highlight current issues and trends in school PR and share some of his best stories. Other sessions focus on media relations, ADA and website compliance, creating the right culture in your district through theming, the benefits of Google Analytics, crisis communication during a natural disaster, PR training for everyone in your district, and working with the modern-day superintendent.
